When you choose to stay overnight in a pub with rooms, it’s only natural that your thoughts will centre on the dinner which you will have on the night that you arrive. Breakfast is just as important a part of the experience, however, (if not more so), and many pubs take pride in the quality of the breakfast that they serve to their overnight guests. Almost every pub will be able to offer you a full English breakfast but even smaller establishments will generally have a broader range of options than that. Think smoked salmon and scrambled eggs or pancakes, and you will get an idea of what may be on offer. Pubs in Scotland and Wales are also likely to offer local options which may well be new to you. We would highly recommend that you try them.
Keep in mind that some pubs may ask you to order and give a rough idea of when you intend to eat the night before. This helps to take the pressure off their small kitchens, so be sure to check if they need to know.
